“The digital society – adding value for trade and industry”
The 2018 conference is entitled “The digital society – adding value for trade and industry”. In their talks, high-calibre speakers will cover the issues that are currently driving the food industry. After all, the effects of digitisation are being felt more than ever today: new business models are emerging, changing industry trends are resulting in ongoing adjustments to product ranges, and the division between the different sales channels is becoming increasingly blurred. The 2018 conference will focus on these and many other challenges. Keynote speaker Stephan Grünewald (Managing Director of Rheingold) will demonstrate how digital app solutions have found their way into food industry strategies, while Stephan Knäble (Global Head of Consumer Panels, GfK) will explain the digital challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the industry, and Thomas Storck (CEO, METRO Cash & Carry Germany) will talk about how customer service is changing in the digital world. Discover the many other highlights of the programme.

The popular Start-Up Platform has already reached its maximum number of participants
The symposium focuses on promoting up-and-coming young companies. The Start-up Platform gives young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present themselves in an optimal setting and make the leap to the shelves of food retail outlets. Many start-ups have already made important contacts at the conference, thus laying the foundations for their market success. The Start-Up Platform is one of the biggest highlights at the Feines Essen + Trinken conference, with the number of participants increasing year on year. In 2018 the demand was so great that registration for the Platform had to be closed early. Currently there are no longer any places available, but you can register for the 29th Feines Essen + Trinken conference, which will take place on 9 and 10 May 2019, by emailing email@example.com. It’s well worth it!
